Congratulations to our HOBY Award winners and finalists! The mission of the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership (HOBY) program is to inspire and develop a global community of youth and volunteers dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. Each year, St. Jean's conducts an internal HOBY essay contest to determine which Jeanite will represent the school at the state conference. Contestants write about a societal problem and possible solutions. Amy Acosta will represent St. Jean’s at the New York conference of HOBY leaders in May at Adelphi University.
